About TSC

The Shed Consultants is a practical consulting network built around one idea: specialized expertise should be accessible without forcing clients into oversized contracts or bundled sales.

TSC’s physical security practice represents the buyer. We examine the property, document the real gaps, translate them into a usable scope, and help the client evaluate what installers propose.

The advice stays separate from equipment commissions, monitoring contracts, and installation revenue. The client retains control of the final purchase.

We do not need to sell more equipment to make the engagement worthwhile.— the TSC position
02

The network

A focused lead consultant supported by practical expertise when a project requires additional trade or domain knowledge.

  • SecuritySite risk, cameras, access, alarms and procedures.
  • TechnologyNetworks, storage, remote access and system ownership.
  • PropertyDoors, lighting, circulation and physical conditions.
  • ProcurementScope control, proposal review and negotiation.

Positioning

Independent from the sale.

Installers know how to install. TSC makes sure the buyer knows what should be installed, what is missing, and what the agreement actually costs.

  1. Walk the propertyObserve the site as it operates, not only as it appears on a plan.
  2. Define the requirementTurn risks and priorities into a scope installers can price.
  3. Compare the variablesNormalize hardware, labor, recurring fees, warranties and exclusions.
  4. Negotiate before signatureResolve gaps while the buyer still has leverage.
03

What changes

A free installer walkthrough produces that installer’s proposal. Independent consultation produces work the client owns and can use with several bidders.
